Best Port Jefferson Restaurants | Kid Friendly Edition
Trying to choose a spot to eat is usually already painstaking then add in needing it to be kid friendly can feel imposable. Here are a few of my treasured Port Jefferson Village eateries that are very kid friendly AND tasty!
Gourmet Burger Bistro
Located right in Chandler Square GBB is a great go to spot that is accommodating bringing the whole family. Serving up delicious burgers & fries, salads and more you can’t go wrong. During the summer there’s even the option to enjoy outdoor dining and take in the hustle and bustle of town.
Slurp Ramen
A family favorite for traditional ramen bowls also located in Chandler Square with views of the harbor. The menu isn’t huge but everything is really good and haven’t been disappointed yet! If your looking for a good warm bowl of comfort, this is your spot!
Locals Cafe
Local’s cafe is a modern café serving specialty coffee and a health conscious choices. This is my go to spot for everything but my kids love it too. The menu is diverse and offers a good range, and they even have locally made treats at the counter. Everything is made with fresh ingredients and always made to order. My favorites from the menu would have to be the quesadilla and the goat cheese and honey toast. If you follow my instagram, you’ll know first hand I go here at least once a week.
Toast
Toast is a great and bustling brunch spot right in the village on East Main. Open 7 days a week, this is a goto spot when friends and family are visiting and kids are in tow. They serve a full breakfast and lunch menu all day with the most delectable choices. I often gravitate to the breakfast section and get one of the french toasts, but the sandwich and salads are killer too!
